🎨 A New Addition to The Art Center Sculpture Garden! 🌟
The Art Center of Western Colorado is honored to announce the donation of “Forged Snow Cone,” a stunning sculpture by renowned Western Colorado artist Lyle Nichols, as part of our ongoing TLC for TAC Campaign.
Known for transforming reclaimed and industrial materials into imaginative works of art, Nichols has created sculptures that have become beloved landmarks across the Western Slope and beyond. His latest gift reflects a longstanding commitment to public art and community enrichment.
Forged Snow Cone will join The Art Center’s growing outdoor sculpture garden, helping enhance the visitor experience and expand public access to inspiring art.
“We are honored to receive such a beautiful sculpture from a renowned local artist,” said Assistant Director Peter Booth. “This contribution supports The Art Center’s efforts to strengthen community engagement and expand public access to inspiring works of art.”
Nichols shared that the donation is his way of supporting The Art Center’s mission: “The Art Center works hard to enrich the community, and I want people passing along 7th Street to benefit from that effort and enjoy the sculpture.”
