GI Historical Society Open House - October 2026
GI Historical Society Open House will be Saturday, October 17th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at River Lea in Beaver Island State Park and items on display will be focused on Navy Island and Buckhorn Island. Follow signs thru park.

The GI Historical Society Meeting & Program is Thursday, Ocotber 1 at 7:00 p.m. at River Lea in Beaver Island State Park. Alan Nowicki, Director of Programming at the Roycroft Campus will present a program.

Ferry Village Garage Sale is
Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., begin at 1570 Cox Rd. The GI Historical Society will also have items at the sale.


GI Historical Society Open House will be Sunday, September 20th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at River Lea in Beaver Island State Park and feature Arts & Crafts movement information from the end of the 1800's. Follow signs thru park.

Ferry Village Walking Tour
Ferry Village Walking Tour, sponsored by the GI Historic Preservation Advisory Board will take place on Saturday, September 12th and Saturday, September 26th at 10AM. Meet at the corner of Ferry Rd. and East River Rd. by the hot dog stand. There is a $10.00 charge. For reservations call Sharon at 716-773-2421.
