Hello Mad Potter Followers!
This is a call to action- because I know when you and I team up we make incredable things happen!!
I’m not far from where the recent floods devastated parts of Kerr County. Since coming to San Antonio, I’ve been lucky to meet some truly beautiful souls—several of whom are now grieving the loss of loved ones from this tragedy.
YALL!! You KNOW me, normally i would be at my wheel throwing as much as i could as fast as i could in order to rase money- BUT!! Right now, I can’t sit at a wheel and make pottery to raise funds like I usually would. But I can give something else that holds meaning: my art/drawing/sketches.
So for today only (Tuesday), I’ll be offering some of my drawings. If one speaks to you, comment “sold,” message me a screenshot of the piece you want, and name a price that feels right to your heart. I can send you my Venmo, CashApp, or PayPall—whatever works for you.
I’m not setting prices, because I know everyone’s in a different place financially. All I ask is that you help me cover shipping—everything else will go directly to the families of those impacted.
These are people who have welcomed me, supported me, and shown me kindness without asking for anything in return. This is my way of giving something back to them—and maybe helping ease just one tiny piece of the weight they’re carrying.
I know I’m not a professional artist in this field, but my work comes from the heart—and right now, it’s what I have to offer. If one of my pieces speaks to you, or if you’d like to commission something personal, I would be honored. This is a beautiful reason to do it.
Help me turn art into comfort, and grief into something that gives.
Help me extend my arms to wrap around them and bring them in like family just as I’ve always done with you all….
