Goodhue Area Historical Society Secretary Barb Augustine is next to a printing press donated by Lodermeier’s Inc. The press was used by L.E. Cook, who purchased the Goodhue Enterprise in October 1925. In his first issue on October 19, Cook wrote that he has some doubts about his new location when he approached the town and read the sign, “Goodhue Welcomes You,” near the cemetery. Cook later changed the name of the paper to the Goodhue County Tribune.
