Find the Buffalo Bill Museum at Councilwoman Amanda P. Sandoval, Denver District 1's annual Movie in the Park and Resource Fair on Friday, August 28th from 6-10pm at Zuni Park (51st & Zuni St). Bring your blankets and chairs to watch a movie under the stars with friends and family! There will be food trucks, city resources, and a free climbing wall for all to enjoy! The fun starts at 6:00 pm and How to Train Your Dragon will begin at 8:00 p.m. We will be giving out free tickets to the museum. See you there!

Visiting the museum on Friday, August 21? Come up via I-70. From 7 am to 3 pm the incoming freshman class of the Colorado School of Mines will be participating in the annual M Climb, which entails walking up Lookout Mountain Road. Traffic from 19th Street to the M will be greatly impacted.

Colorado School of Mines will welcome 1,698 first-year and transfer students to campus on Aug. 21 with the annual M Climb up Mount Zion.

Spots still available to join a Buffalo Bill Museum staff member on an exploration of Lookout Mountain Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22. Learn about the development of Denver Mountain Parks, see inside the historic Pahaska building, and hear why William “Buffalo Bill” Cody was buried on Lookout Mountain. All attendees will receive an admission pass to the museum.

On Thursday, September 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. join a member of the museum staff as they share some of the items in the collection. September’s spotlight is on a letter from an Argentinian Gaucho written to his patron in Buenos Aires in 1893 while he was touring with the Wild West. Includes coffee, light refreshments, and admission to the museum. Meets at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, 987 1/2 Lookout Mountain Rd, Golden, CO 80401.
