Glidden Area Historical Society The museum is open for any family or class reunions that request it be open.

This museum has a variety of exhibits depicting Glidden’s history of it’s residents, businesses, churches, and organizations, as well as the surrounding area townships.

We are working is a Glidden School display and hope to get it set by the 4th. How are your floats going for the Days of Yore parade? You could decorate a vintage car or truck. Old fashioned bikes and lawn mowers would be cool, too. We have an idea for ours. We might need some,people to ride on it. If you are interested, contact Pam Borman at 715-264-6950.

If you have some free time and feel like volunteering, Frank will be working on the bathroom in July and extra hands would be nice. Our next meeting will be June 17th 5 pm at the museum.

There are some donations coming our way. Very nice. If you are doing some sorting and cleaning, keep us in mind for items for the museum. If you are not sure, contact Pam Borman @ 715-264-6950. I would be happy to chat and answer any questions you might have.

Hey, the 4th of July parade is just around the corner. Days of Yore is the theme. Think about entering a float for the celebration. It does not have to be extravagant. Just use your ideas and imagination to put it together. If you throw candy, it will be a hit for sure.

If you have something for the museum, but are not sure about donating it please call Pam Borman @715-264-6950 to discuss. We would love a copy of photos of families, buildings, homes, churches, organizations, family history or trees, etc. Keep us in mind.

The weather is finally going to be nicer. Yay! We will be working on projects at the museum. We would love to have you join us.

Keep us in mind if you are going through stuff and you find Glidden memorabilia. Photos, promotional stuff about Glidden, tools etc used back in the day, anything that you think might be a donation to the museum. Call Pam Borman @ 715-264-6950 if you are not sure, if you have a donation, or any questions.

Once the weather is better, there will be projects to work on at the museum. If you want to help, we would be glad to have you there.

Do you have any Glidden memorabilia? Photos, hats, shirts, ash trays, posters, pens, logos, cups, matches, thermometers, etc. We would appreciate any that you would like to donate. We can add to our displays.
