Hello friends etc! If you havent seen the variety of art from locals and classes I had at the gallery, check out my "photos" tab! 😍 God willing, 🙏 i will open another in the future!

Title: Immersion or total submersion" Mathew 3:11-12..... I finally finished this painting today. I really struggled with the faces but I finally just let it go. 🤗 I had like a "vision"to paint it for a while, and finally needed to get it on canvas! I just kept seeing the old fashion baptisms where people are lined up and waiting to be get baptized...  such a great symbolic act of being immersed in the Holy Spirit!

In Mathew 3:11-12  John said " I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me, will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." .....

Sharing a few paintings that are in an art show in Kerrville tx. ; A group of us ladies paint every Monday--About 12 or more. And we have a show going on at the Kerrville arts and cultural center.(KACC) you can go to their site and look at the different displays/exhibits...Lots of talented people here in Tx just like in WV!! enjoy!!

A part of the show was honoring our favorite trees. Especially the one very old "heritage" tree in Kerrville... for me, that one's sold, which was surprising, but it really caught the eye...It was called "passage of time"

The OSB workshop was a success.❤️❤️🤗 There were eight people in attendance overall. And of course, I forgot to take a live video and photos 😵😍...it was fun though, and I love getting together with other creative people!

Notice about Art Show Entries and Reception:

Due to Aunt Ruthie's death and funeral timing, I'm going to postpone the "Patterns" Art Show reception until Friday the 13th!!! 😵 from 4-6. Please put it on your calendar!

All artists and brave people can actually turn in their entries NEXT Wednesday, Oct 11th! from 11-5 😄🤗 I will be at the shop this Wed and Thursday from 11-5. Remember that you are welcome to do more than one painting. I encourage it.!

❤️ This is the first Art entry for the upcoming "Patterns" art show! entries are due Thursday, October 5 from 11 to 5. you can use any canvas from 14 x 18" to 5 x 7". acrylics, oils, collage papers, material, inks, etc...Be brave y'all and enter something! This will be the final art show for the winter. ...It should be really fun. The reception is Friday, October 6 from 3 to 6pm.

This emerging artist came in today, and learned Monoprinting on a gelplate. Then we had the idea to press canvas onto it. She (Jax) used two 9 x 12 plates together and did it all herself.! 😍She did a great job!
