The Fountain of Youth Stump Well in Lakeview Park, Glen Rose,Tx. circa 1925
This artesian (flowing well) was one of over 200 dug on the Paluxy River from the turn of the century through the 1930's. So many were dug it caused the water pressure to decrease and they eventually ran dry. Today they are all gone. The stump well was one of the most famous and visited one in Glen Rose,Tx. during that era.

The Campbell Hotel built circa 1890 was an impressive three-story building. it burned in the 1920's and was torn down....

The Campbell Hotel built circa 1890 was an impressive three-story building. it burned in the 1920's and was torn down. It sat behind the Campbell building on Barnard St. Today the current home on the sight utilized some of the doors and stones from that structure.
