You might be surprised how often we get an email or message about someone wanting to donate (or us to buy) a whole layout and keep it as is. Most of the time, they're nice enough home layouts that feel much like our O Gauge display. Our typical reply is that we we'll use what we can, part things out or sell pieces on the secondary market, but we can't display it as is. Most times this is the deal breaker (which we understand).

Recently, we got an email about a layout but the quality of this layout is first class and wanted to pass it along. If anyone wants or knows of a person / origination that might be interested in a 31' x 18' (500 sq ft) Black Forrest inspired, layout shoot us a message and we'll relay the contact information. Located in Hilton Head SC and built modularly the owner would like to find it a new home.

While we would love to help and it's an absolutely amazing layout, it doesn't fit in with our mission to preserve our region's railroading heritage.

Today is the final day of the 37th annual Holiday Train Show. It's your last chance to travel from Pittsburgh to Connellsville and all through the Allegheny Mountains, arriving in Cumberland, MD.
