Since most did not get a chance to see the Gettysburg Mercantile Museum, I have created a video and wanted to share it with you all.
Although the museum did not last but 7 months for certain reasons thus making it my choice to close it, I at least wanted to create a virtual video tour of it so that it can live on forever to educate people about how bartering and trading and shopping occurred in the 1800s.

As of January 31, 2024
The Gettysburg Mercantile Museum will be closing its doors permanently.
Although a neat idea and great addition to Gettysburg, my passion is in my Sutler business and I owe it to my customers to give to them 100%.
A lot of changes will be happening on Baltimore Hill which is what
The Maryland Sutler/Mercantile Museum area was called back in the 1800s
The Maryland Sutler will be moving to The General Store building and a New 1860s Retail Store that is directly related and an addition to The Maryland Sutler will be coming this Spring/Summer to The Maryland Sutler Store location.
Stay tuned for more details.
