There's a reason our visitors leave Hamill House smiling — and her name is Charlotte. 🌹

One of our most cherished docents, Charlotte greets every guest who climbs these historic steps with warmth, wit, and a genuine love for the stories these walls hold. Whether she's in her signature red hat or simply sharing a favorite tale from Georgetown's silver-boom past, she brings the history of this remarkable house to life in a way only she can.

We caught her this week welcoming a wonderful group of visitors to Hamill House, and it was a perfect reminder of how much our volunteers mean to Historic Georgetown, Inc.

Charlotte, you are an absolute treasure — thank you for everything you do!
