In the early 20th century, Geneseo's student learned in 14 one-room schoolhouses scattered across the countryside, from York to the Groveland town line.

Join us on SUNDAY, October 18 at 1:30 pm at the Geneseo Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center Street, as Jeff Mothersell traces the story of these small but vital community anchors that defined rural education in the early 20th century.

This program is free and open to the public, co-sponsored with APOG.
