Join Carlene Lagrou in this Open Studio workshop, designed for intermediate skill levels and beyond. Bring your medium of choice for either a still life set-up or live model.

This workshop is free, but registration is required.

Entry Forms are open for our 2026 Holiday Artisan Market!

This market is a great opportunity to sell and shop perfectly giftable seasonal items that are sure to please everyone on your holiday gift list.

Just some photos from yesterday evening’s “Juried Fine Arts” reception. This was also the “soft opening” for our new Gallery. As expected, the place was packed! Everybody had a great time looking at the art and catching up with old friends. In the background was music was provided by three talented young ladies known as the “Wildflower Collective”. Talk about a great evening!

And a big shout out to the winners! First prize went to Diana Smith for “Into Autumn”. Second prize was awarded to Melinda Bylow for “Contemplating Reality”, and third prize went to Betsy Yusko for “Embers of the Rising”. The Honorary Mention winners were Melinda Bylow, Barbara Kenton, Jane Hanck and Carlene Lagrou.

Stop by the new Gallery and see the winners in person! Our new expanded hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11:00-5:00 PM. We’re at 144 W Main Street in downtown Ga***rd. See you soon!

What’s this? Just a sneak preview of some of the entries for our new Juried Fine Arts Exhibit. We had 63 entries and only 40 were selected to be in the show. Who won? I honestly don’t know, but you can find out for yourself by attending this Saturday’s Juried Fine Arts Reception at our new location at 144 West Main Street (old "Tools to Teach"). Plus you can see our new Gallery for yourself. Plenty of parking in the city lot behind Claude Shannon Park or on Court Street or Main Street. The reception runs from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Light refreshments provided. See you on Saturday!

Look what else has made the move to our new Gallery at 144 W Main Street. The “Free Little Art Gallery” is now in front of the new Gallery and Crave Restaurant! Crave has kindly donated the space for the Free Art Gallery’s new home, so thanks Crave! And, as the sign say, feel free to “view art, take art, and leave art”. And we’re planning a grand opening, and more info on that in the days too come. Stay tuned!
