Here are some behind the scenes of one of our latest art projects at The Corner Store…I volunteered to help paint a couple of murals for the boy’s school play titled, “Newsies.” I love when I can mix work with family fun. It’s the best kind of work.

***ANNOUNCEMENT*** After a lot of thought and some exciting new developments in 2024, I have decided to officially rename my gallery and event space from “The Artist Loft Gallery & Event Space” to “The Corner Store Gallery & Gathering Place.” After all, this historic 1868 building was a former corner store and I’d like to honor that. Here is a peek at how things are coming along. The gallery is currently by appointment only, but we will start having regular business hours very soon! DM me if you are interested in hosting an event or meeting in this creative and lively space.

This piece is titled, Collette…and oh dear, Collette has lost her lemons and doesn’t know where to find them. 😉 I wanted to share this piece with you as a reminder to be present. As we all hustle and bustle around this holiday season and plan our goals and aspirations for 2024, I believe Collette is a good reminder to focus on the now. Take time to savor each and every moment. It’s a magical time of year for our families with the spirit of the holidays and joyful wishes for the new year. Don’t let it pass you by too quickly.

This one is titled Fall in New York. If you haven’t experienced this time of year in NYC, I highly recommend it over any other time of year. In fact, the entire northeastern United States is quite a stunning spectacle with cinematic foliage arched over nearly every street and rolling hill.
