At the Sumner County Museum, explore 10,000 square feet of exhibits that bring Sumner County’s history to life. Discover displays from pioneer days, a fully equipped tinsmith and blacksmith shop, the textile process from cotton to loom, vintage music and photography collections, historical clothing, and more. Highlights include original pieces from Randy’s Record Shop, Gallatin’s first fire truck, and artifacts from the world’s first air mail delivery—right here in Sumner County! Got questions? Fall was in the air last night for the 30th Annual Candlelight Cemetery Tour!🍂🕯️🌙

We extend a sincere thank you to our wonderful actors, volunteers, and sponsors who gave their time and talent to help us bring history to life to over 1,000 attendees.

Tomorrow is a busy day on Main Street! 🛍️ Shop local, preorder your copy of Stories Among the Stones, grab a Sumner Co Mug, and order your Cemetery Tour T-shirt!

Then stop by the Sumner County Museum, where Carey Rutledge will be answering questions about the history of the square and Gallatin.

Finally end your evening with a candlelit walk through the historic Gallatin City Cemetery at the 30th Annual Candlelight Cemetery Tour.🕯️🌙
