Come see me next Saturday, 7PM at the 18th Annual Gilchrist Gala at the C William Gilchrist Gallery in Cumberland for the artist showdown!!! Several of my artist friends and I will be painting live at the event for 90 minutes, with prizes for the selected favorites! I’m super excited for this opportunity, and to enjoy my time once again and as always at the gilchrist gallery 💛

This one took a long time to make and curate. I had an old telephone piece left over from my miscellaneous box of random objects to sculpt with and I knew eventually I wanted to do something with it lol,,
I love the hand reaching out, I sculpted it with tin foil and newspaper, painted it then modgepodged it. Curled a wire around a pencil to get the phone cord look.

The Deep End is where I did my first ever live paint. I knew virtually no one and was a bit nervous. The Deep End helped me to come out of my shell. Convinced me that there was a place for me in a place I just moved to. The Local Mecca simply would not be what it is today without this place and the people who gather there. I wouldn't be who I am today without them! It's sad to know tonights our last night to dance in this space, but the community who have come together because of JM Sullivan is strong enough to prevail just about anything. See you guys tonight, thank you for everything

Shout out to last weekend at Cumberland Living Arts Festival! Absolutely beautiful day filled with community, art, and a combination of the two :)) The first festival vendor event for The Local Mecca was a success, and the turn out for the event was inspiring. So excited for what's next for Cumberland Living Arts! 🥰
