35 years later, remembering Artsakh matters more than ever.

On September 2, 1991, the people of Artsakh declared their determination to live freely in their ancestral homeland. Today, its Armenian population has been displaced, but their history, culture and traditions must not disappear with them.

This 35th anniversary is more than a commemoration. It is an opportunity to preserve the stories, photographs, music and cultural identity of Artsakh and ensure they are carried forward for future generations.

Join us September 2 at the Armenian Museum of Fresno as we remember Artsakh, honor its people and help keep its cultural memory alive.

Evgenia joined Great Day to talk about her art, the inspiration behind her work and her exhibition currently on view at the Armenian Museum of Fresno.

We’re delighted to welcome internationally recognized solo flutist Tracy Harris to the Armenian Museum of Fresno this Friday, August 7, for the opening reception of 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨: 𝘼 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩, featuring the extraordinary paintings of internationally collected artist Evgenia Parsadanian-Harris.

A Yamaha Performing Artist and Clinician, Tracy is a former principal flutist with six West Coast symphony orchestras and is Professor of Flute and Artist-in-Residence at the College of the Sequoias. She is also director of the internationally award-winning Wyndfall Flute Orchestra and an acclaimed performer, educator, author and lecturer.

Tracy’s live performance will provide a beautiful musical backdrop as guests meet Evgenia and experience her vibrant collection inspired by Armenian heritage, culture and the universal stories that connect us all.
