No longer a brick and mortar shop, The Art Parlour Gallery was located in the heart of the Historic District of Frenchtown, NJ. The Art Parlour was a hotbed of creativity during the first two years of the Covid pandemic.​

​Initially opened on a whim, Sandra Dillon curated and exhibited 16 art shows including work from 100s of local and national artists and a performance by the talented singer -so

ngwriter, Brendan James. Sandra is forever grateful for the wonderful opportunity she had running an art gallery that became a cultural and social hub at a time when most other businesses were shuttered.

​In conjunction with Luke Ratray's exhibition of photographs from the Coney Island Mermaid Parade, Sandra created the Frenchtown Merfolk March (formerly known as the Frenchtown Mermaid Parade) which is still going strong and now in it's 5th year! This year's Mermaid Event will be the Mermaid Mingle at FinnBar on Saturday, August 23rd! Kid friendly face painting and games from 3-4, then happy hour, mermaid inspired drinks and menu and a dance party after that!
