The gallery is named for an outstanding artist, activist and inventor who lived in Massachusetts, 1878-1969. We offer a venue for artists to display their work, exhibiting to the public for two months. Artists are professional or amateur from Frederick Maryland and many surrounding areas.

Come see Barbara Kenny's paintings, November and December

Her theme is "Nature, Impression to Abstract" - oils and acrylics. This is Barbara's 7th solo show, her exhibits are always a favorite in our Gallery.

The show can be viewed Sundays until 1 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings at UUCF. To request an appointment outside these times, email us at [email protected] with your name, phone # and date/time of desired appointment.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY - Meet our artist, Connie Balukoff, Sept. 12 in the Gallery

She'll be with us next Sunday, 11:30 - 1:00 to talk with you about the 35 paintings on display.

Last Sunday, during her artist talk on Zoom, Connie described many of her favorite inks and watercolors. Because she is a talented teacher as well as an artist, you'll pick up many new and exciting ideas.

All art on exhibit in the Gallery is available for purchase. Bonus: this Sunday only, you can buy a copy of her children's books and select from a varietyy of unframed works. We accept cash, check and credit cards.

All visitors to our building at 4880 Elmer Derr Road, Frederick MD must be masked, whether vaccinated or not.

We invite you to watch the full 55-minute documentary that chronicles the life of Blanche Ames. In cooperation from the film-makers, our Gallery will host a public viewing, open to all (online via our congregation's Zoom link).

Sunday evening, June 27th, 7-9 p.m.
After the video, stay with us for a 1-hour Q&A session with both the director and the writer/narrator of the film.

We want everyone to know Blanche Ames, and why our gallery is named for this remarkable woman, ahead of her time and very relevant today.
