🎪 Stilt Walking 🎪

Ever wanted to walk on stilts? Now’s your chance! Learn the basics of stilt walking on homemade peg stilts during this fun outdoor class at the Frederic Arts building and nearby park. Stilts are provided — just bring long pants and sturdy shoes!

Students who are interested will also have the opportunity to walk in the Frederic Days parade or “dance” with the band afterward at the Frederic Arts building. 🎶✨

⚠️ Ages 8+ welcome
⚠️ Participants under 18 must have parental permission and a signed waiver.

PLUS — join our optional all-ages practice sessions June 16–20!
No registration required for practice sessions, but students must have completed either the Adult or Kids Stilting class to participate. A $5 donation is requested per session.

Pottery: Lidded Vessels

Instructor: Christy Wetzig

Thursdays, July 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd 6:30 - 8:30pm

Learn to make lidded vessels of all types: cookie jars, ginger jars, and teapot-style lids. We'll make three different shaped lidded vessels in the class. Emphasis will be on throwing, but hand-building can also be explored. Material fee included.
