Our bid for the leveling was $13,000. That is set to start in September. We need some extra for exterior repairs to the windows and to update the sign whose letters have begun to deteriorate. Our goal is $15,000.

These donations Total $7014!
We're excited to have come this far and need to cover the rest of the repairs.

Of course there are others who give donations every month, not just on special occasions and I'd thank them too, but they are anonymous! They give generously every month to help support the libraries purpose to the community. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some of these donations are put directly into the library account and some of you generously give a donation with your water bill. We see you and thank you so much!

If you would like to help with the rest of this amount needed, please contact Sabrina or Kari at the library (903)876-4463, or send a check to Friends of the Frankston Library, PO Box 639, Frankston, Texas

Thank you so much for your time!
Sabrina, Director of the Frankston Depot Library and Museum, Inc.

The Friends of the Library are raising funds for the Museum repair. So far, the account has $1,627. Per the bids coming in, we believe we need to raise $15,000. This will include the leveling of the building, which is the absolute, most important repair to be done ASAP! Raining today, so I didn't go take today pics, but the first ones are from February 2026 and the last few are from September 2025. It's getting worse faster now. Donations can be brought or mailed to the library (Frankston Depot Library, POBox 639, Frankston, TX 75763, checks made out to the Friends of the Library) or made directly to the Friends of the Library account at the Austin Bank.
Unless we know differently, we'd love to thank you here ๐Ÿ™‚! Make your friends and fellow Frankston business owners have a little friendly competition!
So far, the donations we have came from only 3 people and then all who came and bought books at the last book sale during The Art Walk.
The Kathleen C. Fitzgerald Museum Building, that is the building that was originally built by the William Foster Masonic Lodge about 1910(leased to Anderson County for the Courthouse and community use), rebuilt in 1953, needs to keep standing many more years!
