Kathleen C. Fitzgerald wrote in part of her report for the Ciry Council in 1983, "Its(the library and museum) existence will not depend on any one person or any one group of people, but upon resident participation."

We have 2 quilts donated by the Sewing Sisters of Texas that will be raffled. We still need more to make our goal. The project is coming along. Shawn Tavera and his crew have done a great job getting the foundation done. The museum needs exterior and interior work. So we're gonna continue the fundraising! Right now the funds come to just over $10,000!

Our bid for the leveling was $13,000. That is set to start in September. We need some extra for exterior repairs to the windows and to update the sign whose letters have begun to deteriorate. Our goal is $15,000.

These donations Total $7014!
We're excited to have come this far and need to cover the rest of the repairs.

Of course there are others who give donations every month, not just on special occasions and I'd thank them too, but they are anonymous! They give generously every month to help support the libraries purpose to the community. 🙂 Some of these donations are put directly into the library account and some of you generously give a donation with your water bill. We see you and thank you so much!
