In just a few weeks, the next history seminar will start both in-person at the Macon County Historical Museum and on Zoom. We will be discussing Ray Raphael's "The People's History of the American Revolution" which covers how ordinary people both participated in and were impacted by the American Revolution, including women, African Americans, Native Americans, and the mostly poor who fought in the war with Great Britain and their Loyalist countrymen and women.

We will meet four times as noted on the flyer, 5:30 - 7pm for the in-person discussions at the Museum and 7 - 8:30pm on Zoom. This all starts August 19th in-person, and August 26th on Zoom.

You can register for the free seminar at tinyurl.com/amrevhistseminar. I've been doing this for over seven years and the discussions are always lively and engaging. Hope to see you there.

Tour starts at 3:30 PM from The Town Hall parking lot, Downtown Franklin.

Let me know if you are coming, so we have enough copies of the directions. Call Paul at 828-200-4060.
