From the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, we have Olivia as the July Employee of the Month! Olivia is an outstanding team member with a wonderful personality and a genuine passion for working alongside her teammates. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our guests have a great experience and is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. She consistently outperforms everyone else, averaging a high photo count when she's working at capture. For July 2026, we have Emery as our Employee of the Month from the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Although Emery joined the PKS team just last month, she has already shown incredible growth and quickly adapted to her role in ways that truly impressed us. She is always eager to learn, consistently supports her fellow team members, and proactively assists our guests. We are excited to announce Shawn as our Employee of the Month from the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Shawn’s energetic personality always brightens the workplace, and he consistently goes above and beyond to support the team. When we experienced internet issues last week and I told him to take the day off, Shawn still volunteered to go out of his way to pick up pizza for the team, making sure everyone stayed fueled and focused. His willingness to step up, help wherever needed, and keep a positive attitude truly sets him apart. Shawn’s dedication and positive spirit make him a tremendous asset to our team, and we’re grateful to have him!
