On this Pioneer Day, we are grateful to those who helped settle and establish Idaho's oldest town. When Franklin was first settled in 1860 the pioneers first thought that they were in the state of Utah. It wasn't until a boarder survey was done in 1872 that they discovered that they were actually in Idaho.

The Franklin Relic Hall is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00-2:30

We were so excited to have Anthony Perry, Historic Sites Administrator of the Idaho State Historical Society join us for our Idaho Days celebration last June. We're grateful for the hundreds of people that visited us during the Idaho Days week.

The Franklin Relic Hall and historic sites will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Our library day will be tomorrow at 11. Come learn about the rich history of Franklin.

We are preparing for the Idaho Days weekend and look forward to the many people that will visit our sites!

Our Family Night at the Museum will be Thursday, June 26th from 6:30-8PM.

Such a fun day collaborating with the Franklin Library. Today we showed some artifacts that the pioneers used to make butter. We also had the kids churn butter and taste a few different kinds.
The Relic Hall is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11AM-2:30PM
