The Nya Needs A Kidney pots are all fired, packaged up, and ready for delivery and pickup!!!

88 pots! So grateful that Nya’s grandmother came to help me sand the bottoms and package them up yesterday.

Pottery lovers! It’s been a week - the end of school, softball & hockey, along with my kiln misfiring with 33 pots from the Nya Needs A Kidney fundraiser. The misfire didn’t reach temp so the pots didn’t get ruined and can get refired.

I’m so grateful for this slow, rainy Saturday to continue clear glazing the 88 fundraisers pots.

The kiln issue is fixed, test fire complete so refire will occur tomorrow. 🔥 🙏🏻

Wow! Thank you to each and every supporter for the Nya Needs a Kidney fundraiser. There were 80 painters for pottery!! We had such a wonderful time hosting Nya’s crew - family, friends and supporters of those in need.

More Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP) process pics!

One of the things that amazes me about these before and after pics is the shrinkage 🤯 the bowls in the first pic were almost touching compared to how much space is between them in the after pic.

I’ve been working on cleaning my studio so I can start making … plates pressed with ferns, snowflakes, mugs and whatever I feel like doing.
