Join artist-educator Hal Papcun this Saturday for an introduction to drypoint printmaking! This course explores intaglio printmaking through a comprehensive, process-driven approach. Students learn how to prepare metal plates by beveling edges, develop detailed imagery, heat plates, apply and wipe ink correctly, and operate a press with appropriate pressure. A strong emphasis is placed on consistency and repeatability of results, reinforcing professional printmaking standards.
