A few interesting finds from the Frost Place -- check out the old bottle and pottery shards discovered during our construction project! We'd love to see the label on the bottle and the full pieces the shards came from. How cool is the purple horse-and-rider design!

The Frost Place has been selected as one of 25 nonprofits in the running to be a Partner of the Month at the Littleton Food Co-op! Dickinson famously wrote: “Tell all the truth but tell it slant.” And Audre Lorde: “Only one thing is more frightening than speaking your truth. And that is not speaking.”

Our examination rests on the premise that poets, in telling their truth, weave narrative and lyric, the personal and political, autobiography and history into their poems and hybrid works. We will look specifically at work based on three, often overlapping, truth-telling categories: researching archival materials, the poetry of witness or “documentary” poetics, and the mining of deeply personal experience.
