Sobieski's Vanguard

Sobieski's Vanguard We are a living history group in the eastern US bringing the past to life, with public displays of life in the 17th century.

We are centered around the 120 Polish Winged Hussars who bravely charged ahead of the main force at the Battle of Vienna in 1683.

We will be at the Fireforge Crafted Beer Polish Festival tomorrow with Polish American Society of Greenville, SC most of the day! Stop by and say hello, enjoy some delicious food and drinks, and relish in our beautiful Polish culture!

We’ve had multiple people ask, but no. Sadly we cannot attend Jamestown Settlement & American Revolution Museum at Yorktown’s “Military through the ages” this year.

We are taking a break from doing some events this year to focus on improving and upgrading our display!

We hope to come back next year bigger, and better than before!

We were so happy to be included in the Greenville, SC Poinsettia Christmas Parade with the Polish American Society of Greenville, SC. It’s not often we get to do events close to home. So we were so excited when we were asked to participate and share our culture with the upstate.
