Before we share anything else, we just want to say THANK YOU.

To every parent who got kids registered, rearranged schedules, drove across town, or across the region and spent the day in the gym with us: thank you.

To every kid who showed up ready to learn, compete, laugh, make new friends and play basketball: you are the reason we do this.

To Isaiah Joe, his family and his entire team: thank you for continuing to show up for Fort Smith.

Isaiah could spend his offseason anywhere. Instead, he comes home and gives kids in our community an experience they’ll remember for a long time. That matters.

And to everyone who helped make the 2026 Isaiah Joe Shooters Shoot Basketball Camp possible, thank you for believing in what happens when a community show up for its kids.

What a night for City of Fort Smith, Arkansas!

Tonight, our community came together to celebrate one of our own as Isaiah Joe Court officially became part of Fort Smith. A permanent recognition of a hometown kid who dreamed big, put in the work, and continues to give back to the community that helped shape him.

And the celebration isn’t over yet.

Tomorrow, we’re back at Northside High School for the 2026 Isaiah Joe Shooters Shoot Basketball Camp! For Fort Kids, that’s what makes this weekend so special.

It’s bigger than basketball. It’s about creating experiences for kids, investing in their potential, and giving the next generation something to dream about.

Congratulations, Isaiah, on an incredibly well-deserved honor.

We need your help! Fort Kids Children’s Museum community, we know our Bakery space has been well loved the past two years. We would love some help fixing our scarf blower. Are there engineers out there who might want to help us fix the airflow and tubes of our scarf blower? Please comment and we will reach out! We are going to figure some good ways to revamp our space and we might have some news soon on where we are putting some fun, new exhibits!

We are officially less than 30 days away from the SOLD-OUT Isaiah Joe Basketball Camp! Parents, it is time to tell your young athletes: Isaiah Joe is coming home, and their spot on the court is waiting!

We cannot wait to welcome every registered player to the gym. Start stretching, keep practicing that jumper and get excited, camp day will be here before we know it!**

🚀 BIG NEWS FOR THE RIVER VALLEY 🚀

We are honored to announce a $250,000 commitment from Simmons Foods to help bring Fort Kids Children’s Museum to downtown Fort Smith. This incredible investment is more than a donation, it’s a belief in our children, our families, and the future of our community.

Because of partners like Simmons Foods, we are one step closer to creating a place where children can explore, imagine, create, and learn through the power of play. A place where families will make memories, curiosity will grow, and future generations will discover new possibilities.

Since 2022, Fort Kids has served thousands of children through pop-up exhibits, school programs, and community events while working toward a permanent children’s museum.

After hearing the stories from parents following last year's Spirit Squad, we knew we HAD to bring it back.

Parents told us their children felt seen. They felt included. They felt like they weren't just watching the event, they were part of it. Those conversations reminded us why we do what we do. That's why the Inclusive Spirit Squad is returning to the Annual Isaiah Joe Basketball Camp.

If you have a child aged 6–14 with physical or developmental disabilities who would love to be part of the excitement, we'd love to welcome them to our team. They'll help cheer on the campers, make new friends, and experience a day filled with encouragement, energy, and fun.

Ages 6-9 will be at 9:00am-10:00am
Ages 10-14 will be at 2:00pm-3:00pm

This experience is completely FREE.
