Tomorrow, "Glyphosate Dreams", a solo exhibition by Katina Bitsicas opens at UAFS Gallery of Art and Design (address below).

Please join us at the opening reception, free and open to the public, Friday, Sept. 11, between 5-7. Light refreshment and drinks will be provided.

Glyphosate Dreams explores the broad-spectrum herbicide glyphosate (known as the primary ingredient in the original Roundup formula) and its impact on bodies, land, and our aquatic ecosystems. In this exhibition, photo images are deteriorated with glyphosate, which erases or interrupts depictions of landscapes, family members, and legal correspondence with chemical burn.

On view: Sept. 11 - Nov 20.
