One Kansas classroom project changed the way the world remembers Irena Sendler.

During the Kansas Dialogue weekend, Norm Conard and Megan Felt shared the remarkable story of "Life in a Jar: The Irena Sendler Project," the student project that brought international attention to Sendler and her courageous work rescuing hundreds of Jewish children during the Holocaust.

ā€œThe Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes was breathtaking. Not only did they give us a great presentation on Friday, they blew us away on Saturday night with their ā€˜Life in a Jarā€™ presentation at the Liberty Theatre. People will be talking about it for years.ā€
