Fort Recovery 3rd graders came for their annual visit to the Museum today !
I remember when I made the treck uptown from the West school for my 3rd grade trip ! It seemed like a really long walk ! 😂
These kids were fantastic as usual . They were polite and asked good questions !
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make today happen !

It’s that time of year ! Our annual Clean up Day ! The student council descend on the Fort Recovery Museum and Historical Society grounds . They sweep , dust , mop , pull weeds , trim bushes , haul mulch and basically do anything we ask of them ! What a great group of kids !

All Fort Recovery Museum Patrons and Ohio History Connection members have free admission which includes the Battlefield tour!

The Museum opens for the 2026 season on Saturday May 2. Hope to see you there!
Museum hours 11:00-4:00.
Open Saturday and Sunday in May.
Open Wednesday through Sunday in June, July, and August.
Open Saturday and Sunday in September and October.
Closed all federal holidays.
