Sometimes great art is born from moments that leave a lasting mark on history.

On what would have been her birthday, Boom Town artist and maker Roger Blueshew pays tribute to one of Hollywood's most enduring icons with Love, Marilyn — a portrait that captures the beauty, glamour and vulnerability of Marilyn Monroe, born Norma Jeane Mortenson.

Though her life was tragically cut short at age 36, Marilyn's influence continues to inspire artists, filmmakers and admirers around the world. Through soft color, graceful lines and unmistakable style, Roger's portrait celebrates the woman behind the legend.
