Since 1951, we are a member operated, 501C3 not-for-profit Founded in 1951 by professional artists drawn to the natural beauty of Fort Myers Beach, the Fort Myers Beach Art Association (FMBAA) has grown from humble beachside beginnings into a resilient, community-driven arts organization. With a gallery now located in Fort Myers after being displaced by Hurricane Ian, FMBAA continues to offer original fine art, monthly exhibits, and educational programming, honoring its 75-year legacy while reaching new audiences. www.fortmyersbeachart.com - Visit our new gallery at 13451 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers (in Cypress Square). This is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. While our working artist gallery was destroyed by hurricane Ian, the association is striving to supply member artists with opportunities to paint together and participate in shows. Please join the group to receive updates on member activities and events. Members are encouraged to post personal victories. Join the group, share your experiences, ask questions when needed, don't spam, and get involved! All images are subject to copyright. Please do not download them or copy them. Feel free to share or comment instead. Here are some guidelines that are important to follow in order to make this a great place for everyone to engage. Please familiarize yourself here:

No Self Promotion of your programs or services unless they are a class that you are offering at the FMBAA Gallery. We're here to support one another in the process, so no pitching allowed. Praising others and posting their links to their work is okay, love shouting out other awesome artists. Definition of self-promotion:
– selling anything – that means products, services, courses, events and programs
– promoting your course, workshop or event
– posting a link to your OWN website – however you can totally share someone else’s if you think it will help the group!
– posting a link to your OWN social media accounts
– posting affiliate links. No live video. No live broadcasting into the group. Admin reserves the right to delete or hide posts that are off-topic.

Cheryl Fausel watercolor classes start in November. Cheryl is a prize winning international artist with over 40 years teaching watercolor!
These classes are taught in a monthly series. These are not drop in classes. Prepayment for the series is required and reserves your spot in the class.
Classes are for all levels starting with advanced beginner - one must have some paint brush experience.
Monthly Sessions:
Mondays Mornings / 9am – Noon

November (5 Sessions)
December (3 Sessions)
January (4 Sessions)
February (4 Sessions)
March (4 sessions)

Fee for 3 week Session, Members $140, Non-members $160
Fee for 4 week Session, Members $160, Non-members $180
Fee for 5 week Session, Members $200, Non-members $220
