Happy Birthday, Andy Warhol! Born on this day, August 6th, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Warhol turned Campbell's soup cans, Coca-Cola bottles, and movie stars into some of the most recognizable works in modern art. He reminded us that inspiration can be found in the everyday—and that art doesn't have to follow the rules. His legacy continues to shape contemporary art, design, fashion, and pop culture around the world.

Happy Birthday, Andy!

Saturday Kids Art Class: Circles and Sound: Create like Wassily Kandinsky
Ages 5-10
In this creative kids' class, young artists will explore how shapes and colors can express feelings, energy, and imagination—just like music for the eyes. Inspired by Kandinsky’s fascinating theories on circles, triangles, squares, and the emotional power of color, students will design their own abstract masterpieces using delicate Japanese rice paper and vibrant tissue paper.
Through layering, tearing, and arranging bold shapes and colors, kids will discover how art can “speak” without words while creating a one-of-a-kind translucent artwork full of personal expression.
Perfect for young creatives who love color, creativity, and thinking outside the lines!
