This exhibit will focus on the communities that shaped Fort Collins’ history over the past 200 years as curated by CSU grad students.

The legacy of immigration can be found in every aspect of our lives - even in food!

Learn how to make blatchindas (pumpkin tarts) from a recipe brought to Fort Collins by German immigrants from Russia!

And learn more about how food was an important facet of the legacy of immigration in Fort Collins at our museum exhibit, opening April 6th at Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures!

Didn’t you know? It’s (history) harvest season! Stop by the Global Village Museum this Saturday (3/3) from 2-4pm to share how you and your family fit into the legacy of immigration in Fort Collins!

We are looking for family heirlooms, documents, photographs, letters, or anything you have that speaks to the history of immigration in Fort Collins. This could be a picture or news article of a family business in Fort Collins, or even small physical objects like a piece of jewelry passed down through the family. We would also love to hear your stories on immigration in Fort Collins!

We can’t wait to see you!
