Three laps around the main loop make a mile. Loop is a combination of sidewalk, dirt road, and boardwalk, all of which are cleared of snow before the hike.

Tomorrow, September 11th, is Patriot Day. All Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites will waive day-use fees for firefighters, paramedics, EMS, and law enforcement as a show of our appreciation. 🇺🇸

🦫📿 That’s a wrap on Fort Bridger Rendezvous 2025! This huge event takes a ton of work. We’d like to thank the Fort Bridger Rendezvous Association and their affiliated volunteers, Fort Bridger staff, state parks staff from around WY who come in to help, the Fort Bridger Historical Association, traders from near and far, mountain men who share their craft, Uinta County Search and Rescue, the Sheriff’s office, other law enforcement, and many others who directly and indirectly contribute to a fun and safe weekend.

Rendezvous is this weekend!
🔓 Gates are open 8:00-6:00 Friday-Monday.
💲Admission is $5 for those 12 and over.
💳 Cash is recommended - it’s needed for gate entry and many traders.
🍗 Food and drink available for purchase on site.
🦮 Dogs allowed on leash - please pick up after them.
🧥☀️☔️ Dress for all weather - but the forecast looks great!
🥾 Wear your walking shoes and bring your water!

What to expect: dozens of acres of traders selling 1825-1840s goods, food and drink vendors, activities and demos such as frying pan toss, and lots of enthusiastic people!
