We've re-installed our exhibit on Barbara Lorman! She was the first woman re-elected to the Wisconsin Senate and served as our Senator for 14 years. The exhibit is on display in our second floor gallery. Thank you Barbara for sharing your story with us for this exhibit and for your years of service to our community.

As Barbara's story demonstrates, elections are vital for our communities and our democracy. Voting in elections is one of the most important actions that citizens can take in our democracy. Gov. W.D. Hoard, the 16th governor of Wisconsin, probably never wore a baseball cap, especially one available for purchase from Fleet Farm. But he definitely would have supported the Milwaukee Brewers! Good luck tonight! We're all cheering for you, even 19th century Wisconsin governors!

We are thrilled to host Trudianne's solo show and to see the incredible scope of her work! Show is open during museum hours.

Seventy Seven will be featured at the Hoard Museum in this retrospective art show, from Oct 21 - 24th.

Museum staff had a wonderful time at the Wisconsin Historical Society's Local History and Historic Preservation Conference in Milwaukee! Assistant Director Dana and Director Merrilee were honored to be able to present on strengthening school partnerships during the conference. But everyone left the conference with new ideas and tips! We're definitely looking forward to using our new ideas at our museum!
