Chicago 16 Inch Softball Hall of Fame

A lot happening this weekend.

Please note that this weekend will not just be about the Men's and Women's National Championship Tournaments. It will also be a celebration of 16" Softball and some of the best players in the Country.

Some of the special weekend programming will include the following:

Friday, September 4, 2026:

Illinois vs USA All-Star Game. Game will start approximately 30 minutes after last scheduled game.

Saturday, September 5, 2026:

2024 & 2025 SSA Chicago Summer Series Presentation. This will start approximately 30 minutes after last game Saturday. We will be presenting the plaques and awards for the first two years of the SSA Chicago Summer Series, taking pictures, and more.

SSA Skills Competition. This will begin approximately 30 minutes after the SSA Chicago Summer Series Presentation. Thursday, September 3 is the deadline to enter. Check out the attached flyer for more information.

With school starting…the first Chicago Public School champion Schurz. We are proud of having been part of the initial meeting to start the program along with Mike North and Rich Melman. Play Catholic schools? When will girls play?
