Camp Claiborne was the birthplace of the 82d and 101st Airborne Divisions One of two Engineer Unit Training Centers was also located at Camp Claiborne.

This is a collection of various photos from various sources, of Camp Claiborne, LA which was an historic WWII Army camp located near Forest Hill, Louisiana. I hope these pictures will be educational as well as honor those men and women that appear in them.

These walled structures appear to be bins of some sort. Located next to then are these small wash basins with a drain hole in the middle. Remains of the water pipes going to the basins can still be seen. I have not been able to determine what they were used for. They are located west of the black troop area.
