Our Mission: The Underground Railroad Museum exists to preserve and share American history and its connection to the Ohio Valley. We believe that through sharing each other’s heritage we can foster an abundantly rich life-experience promoting generosity as we do life together. Our Vision: The Underground Railroad Museum aspires to encourage Americans to think about their lives in a different way

through the sharing of each other’s cultures. Through this process, those who embrace our mission and vision will become more acutely aware of the commonalities shared with those among us.
