We have not posted on here in a while, but Joyce headed up to Maine for the solar eclipse. The weather was perfectly clear and images came out great. A fun time was had by all, even though there was 21 inches of snow 3 days before we got there. Here is a creation from that trip.

Flint Hill Latin Market For anyone who was at the Greg Redfern talk about the milky way on Saturday, or who just likes milky way pictures of Rappahannock, Joyce Harman has greeting cards of some of the images that were displayed there. They are at the Flint Hill Latin market next to the post office. And David has some other great things there, including Christmas gifts and fabulous food.

I am honored to have won 2 very high placings in North American Nature Photography Association-NANPA annual contest. The quality of the images entered is amazing, and i have entered for many years, but never achieved this high a placing.

The Top 24 consists of the Best in Category Winner, the First Runner-Up, and Two Judges’ Choice images per category. Also, there are two additional levels of recognition, the Top 100 and the Top 250.
