with the price of rent, we've had terrible luck finding a physical storefront for our museum. we live in a small house around 1,000 sqft and our monsters are taking over, literally. here are some reasons why we need a workshop, part I

At our monster museum, we don't just make monsters, we preserve them. Here we are 3D scanning the foam Grafton Monster costume with an Artec Eva 3D light scanner. Foam suits are easily damaged after every appearance and usually requires some patching and repairs. One day it will be beyond repair and we want to make sure his likeness is preserved.

Happy Vampire Day from the hills of West Virginia

Deep in the Appalachian mountains, we have tales of shadowy creatures roaming the roads to old stories whispered from person to person. WV is not lacking in monster legends. While vampires turning into bats is a common myth, the bats that inspire them are very real.

West Virginia is home to several native bat species that help control insect populations and keep the ecosystem balanced. On vampire day, celebrate both the spooky stories and the creatures that inspired them.
