A big thanks to the VFW for providing golf carts for the 4th of July Summerfest! This event runs from 9:30-2pm at the Moody County Museum grounds, 706 E Pipestone Ave. Flandreau, SD. See you there!

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then you might be interested in the Fly In Day at the Flandreau Airport! It will be held on the 5th of July from 8am-1pm. Clifford J Chamley from Egan was born 1912. He served in WWII. Notice his statement from the Egan yearbook, The Bluebird, 1930: "I have to carry a cane to beat the girls off."

We are looking for vendors! Join us this 4th of July at the Moody County Museum in Flandreau to celebrate our nation's 250th birthday! Contact us by June 30th to reserve your spot. Cost is $30 and bring your own table.

As summer kicks in, and heat begins to climb, don't you want to sit in front of a nice fan? The museum's got you covered! This 4th of July we've got on display a fan from the Indiana Fan Co. of Indianapolis which is a "water motor fan" from early 1900s. We've also got some "arm-motor" fans for you to purchase! 😁 See you soon!!
