Yep, this is the one you've been waiting for. Heritage Society annual plant sale this Saturday, May 9th 9 till noon. You won't beat our prices, quality or selection. Help support this event that pays for flowers, summer watering person and maintenance throughout the summer around the log cabins.

Great news to share. The original Ferndale Grain Sign has been restored and mounted inside of the Barr Barn in Ferndale Pioneer Village. Thanks to Ben Erickson and his scout friends for delivering the sign to the park last summer. Thanks to Heritage Society members: Jay Johnson for repainting, Tom, Steve, Joe and Fred for coordination and getting 'er done. Also, thanks Ferndale PW guys for supplying the forklift and support. This is a great example of it "takes a Village". Will post a picture of the final resting spot later.

And That's a wrap. Thanks to all the volunteers who decorated, hosted and supported our 2025 Olde Fashioned Christmas and the Lighted Stroll. Biggest thanks to our Heritage Society President Tom Brand, the man's devotion and time spent is amazing.

And a big thanks to all the visitors who visited our beautiful lighted village, 2045 visitors to Olde Fashioned Christmas and 2273 visitors to the Lighted Stroll. We sincerely hope that you all enjoyed the festivities. See you next year, and have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a happy New Year's 2026.

The sky is clearing up, dress up warm and come visit the Lighted Stroll at Pioneer Village tonight, 5 till 8pm. Last two nights and then we're done for 2025. Free admission and hot cocoa as you stroll the concrete sidewalks. Listen to the festive music and kids can participate in the "Candy Cane" Treasure hunt.

Only one more weekend of the Lighted Stroll Thru Pioneer Village. Thanks to those who visited over the weekend. Friday was a low turnout, but we made up for it on Saturday with also 1000 visitors. The weather was perfect and our volunteers along with the visitors were all in a happy happy mood. Don't know if it was a break from the flood tragedies or the free admission and free hot cocoa. So come on out next Friday or Saturday 5 till 8pm to enjoy the 100k lights, festive music and the candy cand treasure hunt.

Happy to report that Pioneer village is safe from any flooding damage and we are on schedule to welcome visitors to the park tonight for the first night of the Lighted Stroll.

And that's a wrap, last night was the final night for the 2025 Olde Fashioned Christmas in Pioneer Village. Good news for those who couldn't make it, we will be hosting the Lighted Stroll through Pioneer Village, the next two weekends; Friday and Saturday nights 5 - 8pm. This FREE event lets you enjoy the festive lights and music and free hot beverages compliments of WECU. Kids can do the scavenger hunt for the special candy canes and get a prize for finding them. Reminder, there is no access into the log cabins and only certified service animals are allowed inside the village. The Parker House General Store will be open during these times, in case you need some last minute gifts. See flyer for details.
