Happy Summer! ☀️ Check out these photos of Hillary’s younger days at Lake Waban, on the Wellesley College Campus.

Before Hillary was a law student at Yale, she was an undergraduate at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Hillary attended Wellesley from 1965-1969, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science! She also became the first student in the college’s history to speak at commencement, in 1969.

Did you know? Bill and Hillary Clinton were both faculty members at the University of Arkansas School of Law in the mid-1970s! Check out these photos of their teaching days. 📸

Bill started as a professor in 1973 and taught constitutional law, federal jurisdiction, trade regulation, admiralty, and criminal procedure.

Hillary began later, in 1974, and taught criminal procedure, criminal law, trial advocacy, and prison project. She also founded the Legal Clinic, which still operates today. The Legal Clinic provides law students with hands-on training by allowing them to represent real clients in real life legal situations, and as a result provides many services to the Northwest Arkansas community.

The Clintons eventually left the Law School in 1976, when they moved to Little Rock for Bill’s new position as Arkansas’ Attorney General! 🏛️

Hillary and Bill first met at Yale Law School in 1971. This photo was taken in the early ‘70s, while they were still students!

Originally, they met in the Yale Law Library. Hillary was a class year ahead of him. From that point onwards, they were inseparable. In the summer of 1972, Bill postponed his summer plans of working for the George McGovern presidential campaign so that he could move in with Hillary in California. ❤️ Their shared passions for social justice and politics carried them all the way to the White House!

Hillary Clinton bought her GunneSax wedding dress at Dillards for just $53, one day before she was married in 1975! Her dress choice reflects the popular styles and fashion trends of the 1970s. 🌈🌼🛼

Jessica McClintok began working as the house designer for the GunneSax brand in 1969. Her vision for the brand centered around clothing based on romantic nostalgia. These prairie dresses evoked past styles and grew in popularity as a counter cultural revolt against the miniskirt, which trended in the 1960s!

Did you know? M&M’s are the official candy of the White House! 🍬

Presidential M&M’s are commemorative packs of red, white, and blue colored M&M’s given to guests of the president on board of Air Force One and other presidential locations. This tradition began under President Ronald Reagan and continues to the present!

During his Presidency, Bill Clinton altered the packaging to include the signature of the sitting president beneath the seal!
