The Frog Farm

The Frog Farm The Frog Farm is a sculpture garden filled with folk art frogs and other assorted critters, all fashioned by Louise Cadney Coleman. She is self taught.

INTRODUCING THE FROG FARM: Nestled on a one acre wooded area among many native trees and vines, the FROG FARM is an art lover's dream. Designed by artist Louise Cadney, the garden is where life-size sculptured frogs, birds, and other amphibians frolic. All this splendor lies just two and a half miles off Mississippi Highway 61, between Natchez and Vicksburg in historic Harriston, Mississippi which

is serviced by Old Highway 61. My wood sculptures all have special memory. They remind me of stick dolls I used to make as a child, my first experience with this art form. Each piece starts with carefully chosen, curved, straight, footed or slanted images of nature, finished they appear as distinct coherent shapes of art. A native of Harriston, Mississippi, Louise has lived in several cities across the United States. She has chosen her native area as home for several years.
