Italian Wine Services offers easy to understand information about Italy, its culture, people, language, wines, and cuisine and group tours to Italy for business and non-profit groups and organizations. Our group tours introduce Italy to those wishing to experience its scenic beauty, history, people, art and architectur

The tours include visits to some of Italy’s best known regions and cities as well as smaller country areas so that an interestingly varied and delightful visit to Italy may be experienced. The Festa di Sette Pesce (Feast of the Seven Fishes), is one of the most important customs celebrated in Italy and in the USA by Italian- Americans at Christmas. It has its origins in the Southern-most regions of Italy. “The Feast” (a large dinner in this case) takes place on “La Vigiia di Natale” (Christmas Eve) and features 7 types of seafood usually including clams, mussels, calamari. cod, smelts and further seafood delicacies along with pasta and, of course, wine!

Christmas in the Historic District of Old Naples is the culmination of the year-round work of Italian Artisans in their small workshops along the Via San Gregorio. In this area where time seems to stand still, the work of the artisans includes the centuries-old skills of carving the figures associated with Nativity scenes and many other Italian Christmas ornaments and decorations. This district also features the old methods of pizza-making in traditional wood ovens of Naples – the birthplace of authentic Italian Pizza.
