Hey Heart Fam, I am hosting my first open house tomorrow 7/10 at 190 Main St from 3-6. This house is such a gem that I decided to make a graphic design and a parable for my Moonlight is for Dreamers series.

I will be giving away mini prints and raffling off an 11x14 to one lucky person.. AND there will be candle giveaways too.

Shout-out to Tracellen Templin Kelly for the backstory on the house. Your time there inspired me. And The Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow for reigniting my passion for telling stories from the heart. (one of the best spots in Eureka to discover yourself through writing). And The Bluebird Eureka Springs for being the muse I needed to start making art again.

Check out my post on my new web page Find My Eureka to read the locally inspired parable. It speaks of new beginnings and the promise of hope.

See y'all tomorrow!!

Hello Fellow Heart Travelers, I have some big changes coming up the pike. This is a post that breaks down all the new things that are happening with The Heart Division and my new endeavor as a REALTOR. If you feel inclinded - please like my new page Find My Eureka dedicated to not only the amazing house in Eureka and Holiday Island but a behind the scenes look at my incredible life in the Ozarks.

I will be pausing the website utnil August 1st to reset and revamp everything for the holiday season. Although I will no longer have a store front in Eureka Springs, you can still find my art and candles at Heartlight a couple doors down from where the gallery was on Spring Street. Anja Campbell is carrying the proverbial torch and will be happy to take care of you all.

And YES! I will be doing pop ups from time to time.. I will def keep you posted.

Stay tuned for the website reopening coming in August and candles can still be purchased at 28 1/2 Spring Street.

Please like, comment and share this post. I would really appreciate it.

Four years ago, I moved to Eureka Springs with a dream.

I opened a little gallery called The Heart Division and imagined spending the rest of my life as an artist, storyteller, and perhaps a little bit of an alchemist.

The Heart Division was supposed to be the flowers of my heart.

Like many dreams, it didn't unfold the way I imagined.

For a long time, I thought the struggle meant I wasn't trying hard enough. I assumed success was something I needed to force into existence if I just worked harder, pushed more, or found the right formula.

What never occurred to me was that maybe the gallery wasn't the destination.

Maybe it was the invitation.

Looking back now, I can see that downtown, the gallery, the art shows, the conversations, the victories, the heartbreaks... all of it was preparing me for something else.

When the gallery chapter came to an end, I was heartbroken.

I searched for ways to save it, postpone it, or make it become something it no longer wanted to be. Eventually I had to face something I suspect many of us face at least once in life:

Sometimes a dream doesn't die because it failed.

Sometimes it dies because it completed its work.

Thankfully, the spirit of The Heart Division continues through the loving hands of Anja and Heartlight. It looks different now, but somehow the change feels right. Better than anything I could have planned myself.

As I searched for what came next, I considered returning to hairdressing. After all, it was something I knew well and loved deeply.

But the more I listened, the more I realized that what I loved most about that work was never really the hair.

It was the people.

The trust.

The conversations.

The privilege of walking alongside someone through the seasons of their life.

Then something unexpected happened.

When Lyla Allison, NWA Realtor helped my partner and I purchase our home in Holiday Island, I had a front row seat to someone practicing real estate at an extraordinary level. I couldn't look away.

What I recognized wasn't sales.

It was service.

It was guidance.

It was trust.

And suddenly it felt very familiar.

I realized that all the things I've spent my life learning as an artist, entrepreneur, inventor, marketer, and deeply curious human being might have been preparing me for this chapter all along.

Because at its heart, helping someone find a home isn't that different from helping someone find themselves.

Both begin with listening.

Both require trust.

Both involve helping someone navigate uncertainty and arrive somewhere they belong.

So with equal parts gratitude, excitement, and humility, I'm stepping into a new chapter as a Realtor.

Not because I've left behind who I was.

Because I'm bringing all of it with me.

The artist.

The storyteller.

The entrepreneur.

The dreamer.

The guy who moved to Eureka Springs chasing a vision and discovered that life had a bigger one waiting around the corner.

If you've ever thought about making Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, or the surrounding area your home, I'd be honored to help you find your own path here.

After all, that's what this place has always been about.

Finding your Eureka.

❤️

I thought I’d share my dream with you. That one day we all wake up and realize that the only way this all works out is if we remember the truth.

It’s cliche and has been said so many times it feels redundant and almost absurd. But, the truth of truths is we are stronger together.

I am you and you are me. We are one living organism called the human race.

Blah blah blah.. because if you’re reading this you already know this. I’ll spare you the speech.

Real love is the ability to hold many points of view without collapsing into emotion. It’s not easy. I still struggle. BUT, it can be done.

I choose love.. for all of us. Not just the “good guys”. I also choose to be a light in the darkness.. and know that this attracts things that want to hurt me sometimes. I’m fully equipped to deal with the monsters of the world.. which usually are scared little boys and girls who have forgotten their hearts.

My heart looks soft.. and I’m letting her cry today. (Yes, I’ve got a lady heart) But don’t let that fool you. There are many of us who have quietly chosen to embody truth in octaves new to this world.

I don’t need to yell anymore. I know who I am. Do you? I know what I’m gonna do and not do.

Today, I pause. Today, I choose to grieve what’s happened. And equally I choose love with all my heart. I am the change I wanna see in the world.

And I know you are too.

Stay strong Fellow Heart Travelers. My heart loves your heart.

Remember that being your real self is the rebellion. My whole life is a protest.

Living that UGG life.

Made this today after a a week of what feels like a fever dream of snow, ICE madness, snowpocalypse, and posting Valentine’s Day art as the s**t keeps hitting the fan across the world.

I decided to dance in my ugly boots.. because I’m tired of crying. I’ve landed on unleashing my bizarre humor onto you all in hopes of lifting your spirits.

It’s time to take off your masks kiddos.. let me see your weird. The weirder you are.. the harder you are to control. 🦄🌈

And don’t judge my Uggs.. lol. Or do. My feet don’t care.

Like. Love. Buy some art.
