Essex Bank once again provided an opportunity to participate in its Community Investment Program, which, through voting by account holders, awards funds to nonprofit organizations in the local area. In May, the Bank awarded monetary support to 96 organizations from its $120,000 allotment. EAA is so grateful to be one of the recipients! This financial support allows our organization to continue bringing art opportunities to the community. Thank you to Essex Bank and all who voted for EAA!

As we celebrate EAA’s 80th year, the EAA Board is proud to continue investing in the next generation of visual artists. The creativity, technical skill, and dedication shown by the young artists at VRHS are amazing!

Last night, our Gallery Director, Sarah Grote, presented the Essex Art Association Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to Sonya Xaypanya during the VRHS Senior Awards Night.

Congratulations, Sonya!
